Last week I had a birthday.

My dad said this week as he aged his mind stayed the same but his body wore out. I guess that’s the way it works. One of those inevitable laws of nature.

Unsure how I feel about this whole process but I know I’m sure excited about the next 30 years. (God willing & the creek don’t rise)

I watched my mom open a computer & take college computer classes at 65 & that opened up an entire new world that has greatly enhanced her last 17 years.

As we have aged I have studied my friends. I see the extreme value of having grandkids close from my friend Kathy Goff-Brummett I see the value of humor & a fun social companion from my friend Jan L Thetford . My friend Pamela Waldrop Shawchallenges me by her example to eat healthy & the value of a sharp analytical strategic mind & from my friend. Bett Vernon , to be able to plank 13? 16? minutes & be a beast in the gym at 67, you are my hero.

The person you are at 62 is a much more confident, self-assured person than at 32. I pray the 92 yr old version of me is wiser & even more confident.

In my 20’s & 30’s I prayed for wisdom.
In my 40’s I prayed for abundance.
In my 50’s I thanked God for his grace & thanksgiving.

Now I pray that my thoughts & efforts fall on plowed fertile ground of my beautiful leaders & I can support them in their journey to NSD.

I LOVE life & always have…. I decided a long time ago that I would… no matter what.

Because of Mary Kay I CAN live my life on my terms. #mymklife
